I'm a handsome 43-year old guy in NYC. I am warm, sweet, romantic and kind. I used to go out a lot, but now I enjoy quiet times a lot more. Relaxing at home is great and going to a quiet restaurant/bar can be fun, too, as long as it's with someone special. There are two things that I require in a mate: loyalty and respect. I am an introvert which means that I enjoy being with one or two friends instead of in a big loud party with lots of people. I love politics (I'm a Democrat) and the study of religion. I attend a Unitarian/Universalist church, and I tend not to be a match with people in conservative religions at all. I like intelligent guys who can hold a good conversation about stuff like that. I look good but I'm not into the latest fads, and I don't care about designer labels, because I'm not that kind of person. My favorite food is pizza, but I definitely work to keep myself in shape. My friends tell me that I'm "real," and I definitely don't like B.S. I can't be friends with someone who likes to lie or feels that they have something to prove. My worst trait is that I have trouble compromising, but I really try. That's about the worst of it. I have other interests, too. I like to watch TV. My favorite TV show of all time is the Price is Right (I love game shows). I like a lot of other shows, too, like Dr. Phil, Bar Rescue, Restaurant Impossible, Chris Matthews and more.
